Anti-Spam Policy

1Our commitment
iKoach has zero tolerance for spam. Every email and SMS sent through the platform must be wanted, honest, and easy to stop. This protects recipients, and it protects the deliverability of every Coach who sends through iKoach. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to all messaging features — broadcasts, automations, reminders, and one-to-one messages.
2The rules for senders
If you send messages through iKoach, you must:
- Have consent. Only message people who gave you express consent (for example, a form opt-in or SMS checkbox), or where consent can reasonably be inferred under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) from an existing relationship — when in doubt, get express consent.
- Identify yourself. Every commercial message must accurately identify you as the sender and include a way to contact you.
- Honour opt-outs fast. Unsubscribe links and STOP replies must be honoured — the platform enforces suppression automatically, and you must never re-add someone who opted out.
- Be truthful. No misleading sender names, subject lines, or content.
3Never allowed
- Purchased, rented, traded, or scraped contact lists.
- Harvesting addresses or numbers from websites or directories.
- Messaging people who have unsubscribed or replied STOP.
- Chain letters, snowball referral schemes, or deceptive “transactional” disguises on marketing content.
4How the platform enforces this
- Marketing emails include an unsubscribe mechanism, and unsubscribes are suppressed automatically across future sends.
- SMS reminders require an explicit consent checkbox at booking, with the consent timestamp recorded.
- STOP replies and opt-outs set a suppression flag that blocks further texts to that number.
- We monitor complaint and bounce signals, and may throttle, pause, or disable sending that looks like spam.
5Laws that apply
Sending through iKoach must comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) for Australian recipients, and with equivalent laws where your recipients live — for example TCPA and CAN-SPAM (United States), CASL (Canada), and PECR/GDPR (UK/EU). You are responsible for your own compliance; iKoach provides the tools (consent capture, unsubscribe, suppression) but cannot consent on your behalf.
6Consequences
Violations may result in warnings, sending restrictions, suspension, or termination under our Acceptable Use Policy, depending on severity. Deliberate spamming is grounds for immediate termination.
7Report spam
If you received an unwanted message sent through iKoach, forward it (or send details) to support@ikoach.com. We investigate every report.
